SALVATION, Lets talk about salvation.
Since Hosea is translated Salvation, then, the message God has for his people will be one of salvation. What is salvation? Some people believe that salvation is the "born again" experience. Some people are tought that they are saved meaning being "born again," and some are tought that they are born again meaning that they are saved," making salvation and being born again the same thing?
What is the difference between salvation and the born again experience? To get a clearer understanding of the two, let's translated the word salvation. Salvation is translated, to be saved, to be delivered, to be protected, to be preserved, to be made whole, to be rescued physically or morally.
Salvation and the born again experience should not be lumped together as being one of the same. One God does, and the other you do, You must be born again of water and of the spirit. But when it comes to Salvation, you can not save yourself, there is only one name under heaven whereby man might be saved and that is the name of Jesus. Only Jesus can save or deliver you.

We also need a Saviour to free us from the grip of sin even after the born again eperience. We need a saviour to deliver us from the powers of darkness. God's people were falling into whoredoms. Hosea prophesied to them about the error of their ways and God's salvation plan that will deliver them. The devil tried to destroy God's people through immorality. But Gods' salvation will save his people.
So, God's salvation is about saving, saving to the uttermost. Salvation is not the born again experience, it's being saved so that you can enjoy the born again experience. It's being saved to the uttermost in all areas of your life. If you are in need of being saved from your sins, to be victorious over your enemies, God's salvation is what you need, he has saving power. Let him save you, deliver you to the uttermost.
